ARGUMENT
'Woven baskets characterized by a particular distinctive pattern have
previously been found only in the immediate vicinity of the prehistoric
village of Palea and therefore were believed to have been unique to the
Palean people. Recently, however, archaeologists discovered such a "Palean"
basket in Lithos, an ancient village across the Brim River from Palea. The
Brim River is very deep and broad, and so the ancient Paleans could only have
crossed it by boat, but there is no evidence that the Paleans had boats. And
boats capable of carrying groups of people and cargo were not developed until
thousands of years after the Palean people disappeared. Moreover, Paleans
would have had no need to cross the river-the woods around Palea are full of
nuts, berries, and small game. It follows that the so-called Palean baskets
were not unique to Palea.

我是考下午四點的場次，今天有個讓人覺得好可憐的狀況發生。那就是… 有人的護照過
期了! 所以當然就不能考，也不能退費，更慘的事是不能參加6G。後來那位同學就走了，
但是試務人員有在找他，也有打電話給他，也許是可以通融考試，日後補證明? 我不知道
。不過，他當初在網路上報名所留的電話好像沒有留清楚，所以也沒連絡到他。
希望看到這篇的各位也可以提醒周遭在準備ETS考試的同學。
