ARGUMENT

'The following appeared in a newspaper feature story. "At the small,
nonprofit hospital in the town of Saluda, the average length of a patient's
stay is two days; at the large, for-profit hospital in the nearby city of
Megaville, the average patient stay is six days. Also, the cure rate among
patients in the Saluda hospital is about twice that of the Megaville
hospital. The Saluda hospital has more employees per patient than the
hospital in Megaville, and there are few complaints about service at the
local hospital. Such data indicate that treatment in smaller, nonprofit
hospitals is more economical and of better quality than treatment in larger,
for-profit hospitals."

'以下內容為報紙的特別報導, 在 Saluda鎮有一間小型非營利 醫院，平均每位病患住院
期間為2天。在鄰近Megaville市有一間大型 營利 醫院，平均每位病患住院期間為6天。
再者， Saluda的醫院病患的治癒率，約為Megavil le的醫院的2倍；Saluda的醫院每位病
患所享有醫護人數，較Megavil le的醫院患者多，且病患對醫院服務的抱怨較少。由上述
數據顯示，小型非營利 醫院較大型 營利 醫院較能提供經濟及更好醫療品質。
