ISSUE

TOPIC 1.

"The study of history has value only to the extent that it is relevant to
our daily lives."  (高頻)

TOPIC 2.

"The most essential quality of an effective leader is the ability to
remain consistently committed to particular principles and objectives. Any
leader who is quickly and easily influenced by shifts in popular opinion will
accomplish little."


ARGUMENT

The following appeared in a newspaper feature story.
"At the small, nonprofit hospital in the town of Saluda, the average
length of a patient's stay is two days; at the large, for-profit
hospital in the nearby city of Megaville, the average patient stay is
six days. Also, the cure rate among patients in the Saluda hospital
is about twice that of the Megaville hospital. The Saluda hospital has
more employees per patient than the hospital in Megaville, and there
are few complaints about service at the local hospital. Such data
indicate that treatment in smaller, nonprofit hospitals is more
economical and of better quality than treatment in larger, for-profit
hospitals."


我最後Issue選了第一題
題目簡單明瞭而且之前有看過
第二題題目就太長了
要等我搞懂他的題目大概會已經過了不少時間了吧...

寫完還發生一件笨蛋事
出去時工作人員問:你有送出要寄的學校嗎?
我:阿........
我完全忘了可以填耶
而且也沒有看到(或注意到)那個畫面

不過我真的有report成功.....吧
有的有的!!(其實到現在還一直在說服自己)
真的有!!!

在此提醒各位不要和我一樣蠢
(雖然欲寄學校還可以再填過,寄去或傳真去ETS)
(我相信大家都沒我這麼笨 不會一考完就立刻失神XD 不過還是跟大家說一下要小心啊~)

剛剛考完就馬上回來回報

現在想起來當時考前真的超緊張的  前面問卷都看不下去

不過ISSUE TOPIC出來真的是傻眼


兩題雖然都看過  可是都不好寫~!!!!

我只記得我選的那題..


AWA 高頻統計題庫

114."Such nonmainstream areas of inquiry as astrology, fortune-telling,
      and psychic and paranormal pursuits play a vital role in society
by satisfying human needs that are not addressed by mainstream science."

當初在看到這題的時候心想賺到了  幾個禮拜以前有練過這篇~!!!

而且還是各段大方向一瞬間就想好了

但是開始寫後才發現~~

即使大方向已經有了  內容卻很難寫

我覺得這種類似觀念性的題目真的在臨場的時候反而很難和一些學術政治扯上關係

導致我思考完全在科技取代這些非主流這一部分~

重點是我重要的字  phenomenon 拼錯拉拉拉拉~~Q_Q

而且整個文章大概還寫了3.4次左右

會不會因此而被扣很多分ˊˋ

整個issue下來寫的有點卡卡的 但是我覺得基本的概念應該都有傳達到

就看改卷老師仁不仁慈..orz.


另外arguement

233.
The following is a letter to the head of the tourism bureau
on the island of Tria. "Erosion of beach sand along the shores of Tria Island
is a serious threat to our island and our tourist industry.
In order to stop the erosion, we should charge people for using the beaches.
Although this solution may annoy a few tourists in the short term,
it will reduce the number of people using the beaches and will raise money
for replenishing the sand.
Replenishing the sand, as was done to protect buildings on
the nearby island of Batia, will help protect buildings along our shores,
thereby reducing these buildings' risk of additional damage from severe
storms. And since the areas along the shore will be more attractive as a
result, the beaches will be preserved and the area's tourist industry will
improve over the long term."

這題沒練習到

而且我考前準備的針對數據部分提供的argue模板 這篇完全沒有提到

導致在找點反擊的時候想了蠻多時間

很擔心我的反擊點不夠有力




另外  我遇到的在今年高頻題庫都只有2...

所以算低頻嘛 囧...


唉算了~~大家6G加油阿~!
