=_= 大家都很懶...google隨便google就一堆資料雖然假的比真的還多就是了維基也是一堆錯誤不然NCBI也是可以查~但我想沒人會想看英文不然看一下科學人好了總共三頁寫的很淺顯易懂 http://0rz.tw/9JlIX 雖然是2004年的資料不過既然是科學人~其參考價值還是在的另外第三頁最後一段提到在2004年所研發檢測prion的技術是遠遠低估了PrPSc的含量，差異可以高達90%左右。現在也才2009年檢測是無法達到]100%的正確性本篇文章的作者是普魯希納（Stanley B. Prusiner） 1997年的諾貝爾醫學獎得主今年67歲了就是他發現了prion造成bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) or "mad cow disease". 狂牛症以下是節錄NNDB有關他的介紹及一些研究不翻譯都是不難的英文 Frustrated by the inability of scientists to find evidence of the virus that had been presumed to cause scrapie and its human equivalent, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), Prusiner theorized in 1982 that these diseases are instead caused by prions, a term he coined to describe infectious protein. Even after the prion protein was positively identified in Prusiner's laboratory the following year, his notion of a new means of disease transmission was not widely accepted for nearly a decade. Prusiner was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1997. His findings have had profound impact on research into diseases now known to be caused by prions, including new variant (nvCJD) and bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) or "mad cow disease". Prusiner's work has also provided a promising field of research into Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, diseases which seem to share important characteristics with prion-derived diseases. He currently holds two professorships at the University of California at San Francisco, and a third across the Bay at Berkeley.
