剛剛在一則新聞底下看到一位新加坡人的回覆覺得滿有意思的:

Yes we may agree that he might have done something wrong (mocking
Christianity etc). Yes he might have committed a crime. But I would suggest
that the punishment meted out has been far too harsh. To go even further, I
would like to suggest that this case should not have stood.
Looking at the main charge, Amos is accused of wounding religious feelings of
Christians through his video. But just how many Christians are offended by
his video?
No Christian took the witness stand to express his feeling towards the video
in the trial. The petition to release Amos was started by a Christian. The
person who posted bail for Amos is a Christian. A Christian pastor stepped
forth at Hong Lim Park to say there is nothing to forgive him for.
Most people would argue that he had done something wrong, and he deserved it.
Really?
Ironically, did Lee Kuan Yew himself not offend Muslims with his words in a
2011 book? The Muslims themselves expressed hurt at his words.
“In our view, MM’s comments have hurt the community and are potentially
divisive,” the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) said in a statement
then, referring to Lee Kuan Yew’s former title of Minister Mentor.
Nothing much really happened to the late Mr Lee, despite the Muslims
themselves expressing hurt at his words. It took him a full 2 months to
apologise.
Face the music? Irresponsible speech? Why is it tolerated in one occasion and
not tolerated in the other occasion?
Just some food for thought.

這邊大概拙劣得翻譯一下:
是的,我們不能否認他可能犯了一些錯誤(嘲諷揶揄基督教義等等),他可能也犯了罪。但我
會說他所受到的懲罰太超過了。甚至我根本覺得這個案例不應該成立。
看看余彭杉的主要罪名,他因一支短片而被起訴傷害基督徒的感情,但有多少基督徒真得
因為他所拍攝的短片而感到被冒犯和不舒服呢?
在審訊過程中,沒有基督徒站上證人席,做出任何因為這支短片而受到情感上的傷害的證詞。
要求政府釋放余彭杉的請願活動是一位基督徒發起的、交保他的也是基督徒、一位基督
牧師在芳林公園站出來說:並沒有什麼好不原諒的。
很多人說余彭杉犯了錯所以他罪有應得,真的是這樣嗎?
諷刺的是,難道李光耀在他2011年出版的書當中的遣辭用句沒有傷害到穆斯林族群嗎?
穆斯林自身表示的確因為李光耀的詞語而受到感情上的傷害。
穆斯林專業人士協會表示:"以我們的觀點來說,內閣資政(李光耀之前的頭銜)的評論已經對
我們的社群造成傷害,更可能挑起分裂和爭端"。
儘管穆斯林社群對此表達不滿和受傷,李光耀先生之後根本沒發生什麼事,前後整整道歉了
兩個月而已。
"面對現實"、"不負責任的言論"?為什麼余彭杉的例子大家不能忍受而千夫所指,換成
李光耀先生的例子,大家就寬容以待而視而不見呢?
大家好好想想吧。
結論:雙重標準不只是鬼島的專利阿
