才在納悶兩天沒回信結果今天就收到回信了...果然是周末沒上班


此回覆是由美國總部收到英文信後直接轉給台灣costco，再由負責的分公司回覆

Thank you for contacting Costco and providing your valuable suggestions to
us.

Our continued sale of milk from Wei Chuan (a subsidiary of Ting Hsin)
followed a careful investigation and a judgment that it is appropriate for
our members. Furthermore, Lin Feng Ying Milk is not only in compliance with
TFDA’s food safety regulations and quality control requirements, but also
satisfies routine facility audits and inspections conducted by the Council of
Agriculture. As part of Costco’s food safety policy, the facility is also
audited by a third-party company on an annual basis to assure quality is
consistent and within our standards.

Once again, thank you for your email and shopping at Costco. Your opinions
and concerns are of great value to us.

: I would like to draw your attention to the recent difficulties that many of
: us loyal Costco customers have encountered in Costco stores in Taiwan. We are
: writing to you because we have not received any resolution from your
: management team in Taiwan after numerous appeals posted online.
: Costco is one of the most respected retail distributor in Taiwan, well known
: for your focus on product quality and your customer oriented service ethos.
: It is against this background that we, as consumers, have been extremely
: disappointed with your decision to continue to distribute, and in fact, to
: act as one of the largest distribution channels for the Lin Feng Yin Milk
: brand, made by Wei Chuan Corp, a subsidiary of Ting Hsin International
: Group*, a company currently facing a nationwide boycott. The distribution of
: the Lin Feng Ying Milk brand in Costco stores continues despite myriad of
: complaints by your customers who have had to resort to the “Buy and Refund”
:  protest movement.**
: We appreciate that you may have commercial considerations in de-shelving the
: Lin Feng Ying Milk brand as it had been one of your bestselling products, and
: doing so may also trigger penalties based on your contractual agreement with
: Ting Hsin International Group. However as a global pioneer and an industry
: giant in Taiwan, we are looking to you for leadership. We implore you to set
: an example for the industry by being the first retail group to bar the sale
: of all food products made by Ting Hsin International group.
: In the coming months, it is reasonable to assume that there will be further
: repercussions from the “Buy and Return” protest movement; however, instead
: of been a passive casualty of “someone else’s problem”, we strongly
: encourage Costco to use this opportunity to step up to the plate and let
: Taiwan’s consumers know what Costco stands for. Your courage in leadership
: will not only consolidate your existing customer base but will win you
: nationwide respect and greatly enhance your new member acquisition efforts.
: This could be your most cost effective brand marketing strategy yet!
: *Nationwide boycott against Ting Hsin International Group – In September
: 2014, it was discovered that Ting Hsin imported animal feed-grade material
: from a Vietnam-based oil manufacturer Dai Hanh Phuc Co and declared it to
: customs as oil for human consumption. This ingredient was then made into
: cooking oils, which then made their way into pervasive parts of the food
: supply chain in Taiwan, affecting millions of consumers and tens of thousands
: of food producers and restaurant operators.  These facts of the case are not
: in dispute.
: Ting Hsin International Group’s involvement in three food scandals in less
: than one year prompted calls from netizens and civic groups for a nationwide
: boycott of all goods and services offered by the company. Wei Chuan Foods
: Corp, a subsidiary of Ting Hsin, consequently recalled 12 products that had
: been made with recycled kitchen waste and industrial grease (Taipei Times).
: Consumers and schools are mounting campaigns to boycott not just Ting Hsins’
:  oils but all food products made by the group. City Governments, including
: Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and seven other cities and
: counties have instructed all schools in their districts to cease using and
: selling Ting Hsin products.
: ** Costco “Buy and Refund” protest movement - With Costcos’ current
: refunding policy, we understand that all products purchased can be returned
: for a 100% refund and the costs are borne by the merchandiser (Ting Hsin’s
: subsidiary, Wei Chuan Corp., in this instance). These protests are carried
: out by individuals nationwide with the aim to have Ting Hsin International
: group absorb the costs, and ultimately lead to the permanent removal of the
: Lin Feng Ying Milk brand from all Costco stores. At this juncture, protests
