灰熊釋出前鋒Outlaw及後衛Bell

    就在新球季正式開始的前一天，灰熊球團突然大開殺戒，今天(2日)一

口氣釋出前鋒Bo Outlaw及後衛Troy Bell。


    現年33歲的Outlaw擁有11年NBA資歷，他是上個球季灰熊陣營「唯二」

82場例行賽事全勤的球員(另一位是James Posey)，但平均上場時間僅有19

.6分鐘的Outlaw，每場比賽也只有4.6分、4.2籃板表現。而去年才加入灰

熊陣營的Bell，上個球季僅僅出賽過6場，總共只上場34分鐘，貢獻11分、

4籃板、4助攻。


    身高6呎8吋、體重220磅的Outlaw之前曾待過快艇、魔術、太陽及灰熊

，共打過800場例行賽事，平均每場比賽可拿下6分、5.3籃板及1.45阻攻。


    灰熊籃球事務部副總裁Jerry West說：「要做出釋出球員的決定實在

很不容易，尤其是釋出Outlaw這樣經驗豐富的球員，但為了配合球隊的風格

與發展，我們不得不請他們離開。」


    除了釋出Outlaw及Bell外，灰熊今天還將Antonio Burks及Andre Emmett

兩位菜鳥與Ryan Humphrey一同放進傷兵名單中。

雖然我覺得這不是個很好的理由，不過Hubie Brown這樣說：

"There aren't any minutes," Griz coach Hubie Brown said. "The starting power
forward is (Pau) Gasol and the backup is (Brian) Cardinal. ... The second
answer is you cannot keep a guy in his 30s and put him on the injured list if
he's not injured. The injured list is for young guys you're working with and
that have a future down the line with your organization. ... We kept Humphrey
just like we kept Theron Smith. We wanted a guy who can play small forward and
power forward in case of an injury."

( 其實我想問他，是不是嫌小前鋒太少啊。 =_=" )
原本我以為Griz會丟出Outlaw和Humphrey，不過卻丟出了Bell，release Outlaw應該是
個還算正常的決定啦(?!)，因為他的年紀最大，而且這個位置上有Gasol和Swift可以打
(嗯嗯，Cardinal...我存保留態度。)，Gasol和Swift的進攻都比Outlaw好上許多吶。

看來Outlaw相當火大，唉唉，不過我想對於Outlaw這種防守好的苦工球員，應該很多人
要吧，雖然說很可惜，不過也只能祝福他了。

"The most encouraging thing is what Hubie said to me," Bell said in a telephone
conversation. "He said 'You know what? You never got a shot.' ... The biggest
thing is they wanted me to play summer league. I can respect that. I wish all
of those guys the best. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute somewhere."

對於Troy Bell，最可惜的就是他了啦，有良好得分能力的球員，可是卻不斷受傷，唉，
只要他的傷好了，要在聯盟中繼續找到工作應該不算太難，只是可惜了他不能繼續留在
Memphis為灰熊效力。

Burks (left hip strain), Humphrey (left foot strain) and rookie Andre Emmett
(sore left knee)

喔對了，J-Will家裡多了個 9-pound, 6-ounce的小女兒，母子平安，恭喜他們。
