Angelina Jolie To Master Brit Accent

Sultry star Angelina Jolie will have to follow
Gwyneth Paltrow's example - by mastering a
British accent for the Tomb Raider (2001)
movie. The Gone in Sixty Seconds (2000)
actress is currently undergoing six weeks of
gruelling martial arts training to get in
shape for the role of Lara Croft, but she also
has to learn to speak in a posh English voice.
Director SIMON WEST says, "Not since Sigourney
Weaver in Aliens (1986) has there been a serious
tough female lead. It's like Gwyneth Paltrow
with big muscles." West is also promising the
millions of Lara Croft fans there will be new
Tomb Raider adventures for them to look forward
to - although he admits he's not an aficionado
himself. He adds, "I played it for 20 minutes
and wasn't very good. I kept bumping into walls."
