Couple sues Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow didn't give an Academy Award performance behind the
wheel of her car, says a couple who are suing the actress over a
year-old car accident.

Sky News reports that Paltrow, 28, allegedly ran into the back of
their car last April in Hollywood, causing "permanent and serious"
back and neck injuries to Veronica Cabello and Jorge Arauz.

The couple claims $4,000 in damages to their car and $8,000 in
medical damages, as well "pain and suffering" damages.

Paltrow, who won an Oscar for her performance in "Shakespeare In
Love," is named in the lawsuit alongside the car-rental company
that owned Paltrow's vehicle.
