How's this for an unlikely couple -- Gwyneth Paltrow and Courtney
Love. They bonded when Paltrow was shooting Duets with her dad Bruce
in Vancouver. "We really had a good time," recalls the best actress
Oscar winner for Shakespeare In Love.
"And my daddy didn't even boss me around. It was the opposite. He
spoiled me so much. One day Hole was playing in Vancouver, and I was
like, 'Daddy, can I be done by 6 so I can go to the Hole concert?' "
Daddy said, 'Yes,' and Paltrow got to make a friend.
Meanwhile, in the movie Duets, due for release later in the year,
Paltrow got to sing with rock 'n' roller Huey Lewis, who plays her
father.
"We sang this old Smokey Robinson song called Cruising," remembers
Paltrow, referring to a scene in the picture which centres around
karaoke. "I also got to record a duet with Babyface for the end
credits."
