Paltrow ain't no angel

It was about this time last year when Gwyneth Paltrow told me how
head-over-heels she was for her post-Brad Pitt guy, Shakespeare In
Love co-star Ben Affleck.

And when Big Ben talked to me about Armageddon last summer, he was
ga-ga for Gwynnie, too.

Following the reported break-up last week of this golden couple,
who were still cuddly in early December, we have to wonder ... what
happened?

Paltrow assured us that with Pitt, "He didn't do anything wrong" to
instigate the end of that romance and engagement (Read: He didn't
fool around, namely with his Meet Joe Black co-star Claire Forlani).

And word has it in certain circles that Affleck's been a good boy
throughout, too.

But rumour has it that the angelic-faced Gwynnie is more green with
envy than goddess-like when it comes to relationships.

Apparently, she keeps her men on such a short leash that "they just
can't take her jealous streak after a while," reports one industry
insider.
