Hot young actress says interviews are the Pitts (by Cindy Pearlman) LOS ANGELES -- Attention, Brad Pitt: There is bad news for you. It's a beautiful morning and your girlfriend, Gwyneth Paltrow, is talking about the sexiest man alive. And it's not you. Lighting a cigarette beneath a sign that reads, "NO SMOKING," in a hotel dining room, Paltrow smiles and says: "Everyone is making all this fuss about Brad Pitt. I'm sorry. I'm telling you that Morgan Freeman is the sexiest man alive." She puffs on her cigarette and then, with a giggle, adds, "You heard it here." She should know. Paltrow stars with both Pitt and Freeman in the new movie Seven, a thriller about a pair of detectives on the trail of a serial killer. "Seven," which debuted No. 1 at the box office nationwide over the weekend, is just the first in a long line of projects featuring Hollywood's hottest 22-year-old. Paltrow has roles in the female buddy flick Moonlight and Valentino, set for release this Friday, and the upcoming black comedy The Pallbearer. And then there's Sydney, in which she stars opposite Samuel L. Jackson as a cocktail waitress-turned-prostitute. Despite all this career action, Paltrow is having a bit of an identity crisis. In photo caption after photo caption she is referred to simply as "Brad Pitt's girlfriend." Even the interviews she does to promote her work often focus on Pitt. Or, more specifically, his hair, which was long and bleached for Interview With the Vampire (1994) and is short in Seven.
