Dodgers stifled by Pirates
Club manages just six hits; Kuo gets loss in first start

PITTSBURGH -- Ian Snell allowed the Dodgers only one run over eight
innings as the Pirates beat the Dodgers Saturday night, 3-1, spoiling
Hong-Chih Kuo's return to the starting rotation.

Kuo had a rough beginning with singles by the first three Pittsburgh
batters and a bases-loaded walk, but the Pirates ran themselves out of
the inning with only two runs when Freddy Sanchez was thrown out at the
plate by Andre Ethier trying to tag on Ronny Paulino's fly out.
郭第一局不穩連續被海盜隊前三位打者擊出安打，滿壘時還投出一個保送擠回一分，
但海盜隊Ronny Paulino擊出外野飛球時，Freddy Sanchez在本壘前被Andre Ethier
的回傳球阻殺出局，只在第一局得到二分。
The Pirates helped the Dodgers further in the second inning when Snell
hit Mike Lieberthal with a pitch, wild-pitched him to second and he
scored on Tony Abreu's double.
道奇隊在二局上扳回一城，海盜隊投手Snell觸身保送道奇捕手Lieberthal，又暴投
送Lieberthal上二壘，Abreu的二壘安打送回一分。
In the sixth inning, the first three Pirates batters homered, doubled
and doubled, but they scored only one run on Xavier Nady's homer off
Brett Tomko.
六局下，海盜打者接連擊出三隻長打，但因跑壘失誤只靠Nady的全壘打拿下一分。
