Kuo looking to ease bullpen's burden

With Chad Billingsley scheduled for his first start of the year Thursday
night, the Dodgers are hoping Hong-Chih Kuo's outing Wednesday night can come
close to the seven impressive innings he threw against the Mets last week.
That would allow another night of rest for the bullpen on the heels of Brad
Penny's solid seven innings Tuesday. The Dodgers are not expecting
Billingsley to give them more than four or five innings, assuring a busy
night for relievers.

由於星期四*排定Chad Billingsley投他今年的第一場先發，註:台灣時間星期五
並不期望他可以投多於4或5局，所以那將會是個動用到牛棚的忙碌之夜。
因而躲人希望星期三晚上*，小郭可以延續上星期對梅子7局的好表現，註:台灣星期四早上

With Jason Schmidt sidelined, Kuo becomes even more important to the starting
rotation. In his win over the Mets, his fastball was consistently around 90
mph, slower than last year, perhaps because he chose to pitch exclusively out
of the stretch. He'll be facing Toronto ace Roy Halladay.
因為Jason Schmidt的因傷缺陣，小郭的先發輪值更顯的重要了。或許是因為選擇更有效
而穩定的投球方式，小郭上一場對梅子的直球均速約每小時90英哩，相較於去年慢了一
些，而他將對戰藍鳥的王牌先發Roy Halladay。

LAD: LHP Hong-Chih Kuo (1-1, 3.60 ERA)

Kuo tipped his hand with six solid innings in a no-decision against the
Padres last week and did even better against the Mets, allowing one run on
five hits over seven innings. It was his second Major League victory, and he
punctuated it by hitting his first home run. He struck out four and walked
only one in what was his third Dodgers start of the season.
上星期小郭對教士投出無關勝敗的優質先發，接著對梅子更是投出7局失1分5安打的超
好表現，不僅拿下大聯盟生涯第二勝，還打出生涯第一支全壘打!

TOR: RHP Roy Halladay (7-2, 4.37 ERA)
Halladay seems to have gotten over a rough stretch that saw him allow 10 runs
in four innings over a two-game span against the Rays and Dodgers. Since that
time, Halladay has allowed just three earned runs over 13 1/3 innings and is
now3-0 with a 4.38 ERA since returning from an emergency appendectomy May 31.
Against the Nats in his last start, Halladay allowed just two runs on seven
hits while striking out six over 7 1/3 innings. His only mistake came in the
eighth when he allowed a two-run homer to Ryan Langerhans. Halladay is 2-0
with a 1.69 ERA in two career starts vs. the Dodgers.
