RedHawks blank 51s again

Oklahoma ran its scoreless streak to a franchise-record 30 innings with
a 5-0 win over visiting Las Vegas on Saturday.
John Rheinecker (3-1) scattered eight hits and four walks while striking
out two in 6 1/3 innings. Scott Feldman and Kevin Walker combined to give
up three hits over 2 2/3 frames.
The RedHawks also set a franchise record with their third straight shutout,
eclipsing the mark set in 2003. Oklahoma blanked Las Vegas, 2-0, on
Thursday and Friday before completing a four-game sweep with Saturday's
victory.
Oklahoma broke a scoreless tie with four runs in the sixth. Jason Hart
smacked an RBI double, Anthony Webster lined a run-scoring single and Tom
Gregorio stroked a two-run double. Webster had two of the RedHawks' nine
hits.
Las Vegas had the bases loaded with one out in the second and eighth.
Sergio Garcia had three of the 51s' 11 hits.
Starter Hong-Chih Kuo gave up four hits and a walk with five strikeouts in
five scoreless innings. Eric Hull (1-3) took the loss after surrendering
four runs on four hits and two walks in the sixth.
Oklahoma (58-57) has won five straight, while Las Vegas (52-63) has dropped
five in a row.
