Justine not sure about New York
French Open champion Justine Henin-Hardenne admits that she still hasn't
quite gotten used to tennis in the Big Apple. "I am happy to be here for only
2 weeks," the 23-year old Belgian said ahead of her U.S. Open second round
match against Spain's Maria Sanchez Lorenzo.
"The US Open is a pretty tiring because New York is New York," said Henin who
is tipped as one of the favourites at Flushing Meadows.
"There are people everywhere and they are also a lot of demand. It is the
last slam of the year. It is American. Everything is BIG here.
"But I feel better and better here. The fact of working with Pat [Echeberry]
for few years now helped me to understand the American mentality. I'm getting
used to it.
"Training in Florida I get used of the culture, but it takes time."
