Enroute to Australia!
Arms raised with clenched fists, jubilant disbelief, on her knees, and smiles
toward the entourage box at Rod Laver Arena in 2004; grand slam victory
number three. It was ten straight match wins from Sydney to Melbourne, and
those memories remain today enroute back to Australia with Justine.
The first victory of 2006 has already happened. Justine will be back on court
again ready to play her first match injury free, and without doubt or
worries. On Tuesday morning she will fly to Australia with coach Carlos
Rodriguez.
Justine will first play in Sydney at the Medibank International, which begins
on Monday January 9. Then the next stop on her Australian tour will be the
first grand slam of the 2006 tennis season in Melbourne - the Australian Open
starting on January 16.
