Everything's looking good for Justine. The Belgian tennis heroine will depart
for Berlin this Sunday to participate in the Qatar Telecom German Open (Tier
1). She'll have two weeks of preparation for her special appointment at
Roland Garros.
After the grand emotions of the Fed Cup, and a few days of rest, Justine
returned back on court with Wilson stick in hand. Her back pain problem has
eased, and she moved well on court. In her training sanctuary in Monaco,
Justine adds shimmer, and refines her clay court tennis for the important
matches ahead.
Justine has been the winner of the German Open in 2002, 2003, and 2005. She
will be among the top four seeds, and has a bye at this year's tournament.
Qatar Telecom German Open Tournament Schedule
Monday 8 and Tuesday 9: first round
Wednesday 10: second round
Thursday 11: third round
Friday 12: quarterfinal
Saturday 13: semi-final
Sunday 14: finale
The draw will be released this weekend. Be sure to check back for info on
Justine's road map to the final.
