So for those fans of 'Heroes' who might be monitoring this discussion, here is a transcript of the two conversations the Haitian had in French in the last episode, "Parasite." This is a record of what I heard, together with my translation. At the beginning, on the pay phone off the highway — 1) With his back to the camera, while Claire is surveying their surroundings: "J'ai la fille. [Short pause] "Je comprends." Translation: "I've got the girl. What do you want me to do?" [Short pause] "I understand." 2) Then, facing the camera, he utters one last word: "Marseille." (For those of you who might not know, Marseille is a port city in the south of France; it has the second largest population in the country, after Paris. I imagine that must have been where the Haitian intended to hide Claire, under her Canadian alias as Vivian Lewis.) Translation: Grandma Petrelli : "At least now she'll be safe — no thanks to you!" The Haitian: "Listen, I did everything I could. She would surely have found her own way in the end."
