但是他仍以傷勢為由退出羅馬站，依照原定計畫在漢堡名人賽復出(5/9)

World number two Lleyton Hewitt is set to delay his return to the tennis
circuit and withdraw from next week's Rome Masters.

Hewitt has not played since injuring his foot at a tournament in the
United States last month.

He had a minor operation on his toenail as a result and has only just
returned to training.

He is likely to resume at the Masters Series event in Hamburg on May 9.

Hewitt has been practising in Sydney to prepare for the lead-up events
to next month's French Open.
