1. Gerund ( 動名詞 )－＞ used as a noun
( subject / complement 補語 / object of preposition / appositive 同位語 )
2. Participle ( 分詞 )－＞ used as an adjective
＊ Remember not to confuse the gerund and the present participle
3. Infinitive ( 不定詞 )－＞ used as a noun / an adjective / an adverb
＊ Sometimes the word "to" is omitted.
