Poyet - Enough is enough
Tottenham assistant manager Gus Poyet promised changes following the 2-1
defeat to Aston Villa.
Spurs battled back after Olof Mellberg's opener and Jermain Defoe equalised 11
minutes from time, but Martin Laursen headed home a late winner for Villa.
Both Villa's goals came from set-pieces and Poyet admitted he was becoming
increasingly infuriated by Spurs' defensive inadequacies.
Poyet has now warned the Tottenham players that he and manager Juande Ramos
are not prepared to tolerate such poor performances any more.
He told Sky Sports: "There are going to be changes for sure. We conceded two
goals from set-pieces again.
"It's not about individuals because it is a different player each time. It has
become a team problem.
"The word from today is we have had enough.
"We were lucky to only be 1-0 down at half-time and it was a great effort from
the players to get back into the game.
"We came back like we normally do but as soon as it was a corner, we panicked."
Dimitar Berbatov has been strongly linked with a move away from White Hart Lane
during the transfer window, with his agent Emil Dantchev saying this week the
Bulgarian would like to join a top club.
But Poyet has played down the speculation and insisted Tottenham will do
everything in their power to keep hold of Berbatov.
"He is under contract. There is nothing happening," said Poyet.
"Most of the rumours are coming from agents not clubs.
"We want to improve and go to a better level, so he must stay."

Ramos的英文發音比較不好所以電視媒體的訪問都交給Poyet 他自己負責書面媒體
兩個人對這樣的防守憤怒也是意料中的事 他們下了很多苦心要改善防守
