Taylor to join this week?
馬修泰勒本週來？
The Sunday Express are reporting that Tottenham Hotspur will tie up a
￡5million deal for Portsmouth's Matthew Taylor this week.
The former England Under-21 international is a lifelong Spurs fan and Martin
Jol is said to be a keen admirer of the 25-year-old.
傳說熱刺在這周會以5M的金額從港嘴帶走Matthew Taylor。
這位前英格蘭U-21s成員是鐵杆熱刺球迷，而且據說Jol也很尬意他。
Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie has refused to rule out selling Taylor.
港嘴的主席Peter Storrie並不排除交易Taylor的可能性。
He said: “Players will come and players will go and some supporters may not
like that.
他表示，儘管有些支持者會不爽，球員就是會來來去去。
“It is the manager’s choice and he will decide which players he wants to
keep and which players he wants to sell.
"這交給教練選擇，看他想要留誰、又想要賣誰，教練決定。"
“If he wants to change things around to improve the team by 10 to 15 per
cent, he will.
"如果為了讓球隊進步10~15%而要做出一些改變，他會這樣做的。"
“Sometimes he will move on players some supporters do not want to go but
that is football.”
"有時候必須交易一些球迷不希望他離開的球員，但這就是足球。"
