Benoit Assou-Ekotto has undergone knee surgery following an injury picked up
earlier in the season.
The recovery time from the operation will mean the 23-year-old defender, who
has played twice for us this term, will miss the remainder of the campaign.
“Benoit had an operation on the knee on Thursday morning and the recovery time
post op means he will miss the rest of the season,” confirmed
Sporting Director Damien Comolli.
“Benoit is still only young but he is very disappointed to be out injured for
this length of time.”
