LG Look To Sponsor Spurs
South Korean giant corporation LG Electronics is negotiating with
Tottenham Hotspur with a view to becoming the Premier League club’s
shirt sponsors from next season in a package worth around $8.5 million a year.
Currently, UK-based travel company Thomson has its name across the white
shirt but the contract runs out at the end of this season and with
South Korean international Lee Young-pyo at White Hart Lane, as well as
the team’s Peace Cup triumph in the Asian country last summer, Spurs are
becoming a high profile team and an attractive investment for LG.
