Latics seal Ziegler swoop
Wigan have signed Tottenham winger Reto Ziegler on loan for the rest of
the season.
Paul Jewell has swooped for the Swiss international who is eligible to
feature in The Latics' Carling Cup semi-final, second leg clash with Arsenal
at Highbury.
The 20-year-old left-sided player had been on loan at Bundesliga outfit
Hamburg earlier this season and made eight appearances for the Germans.
Ziegler was recalled by Martin Jol during the winter break in Die Bundesliga
but the Dutchman had no qualms in agreeing another temporary deal with
opposite number Jewell, who revealed his delight at the transfer.
