Inter's Robbie regret
Internazionale president Massimo Moratti says he regrets allowing
Robbie Keane to leave the club.
The Tottenham striker had a short stint in Milan after a 13 million move from
Coventry City in 2000.
A year later, he was on his way back to England with Leeds United after a
successful loan spell at Elland Road.
Moratti admits he is a great fan of Keane and should have showed more
patience with the Republic of Ireland international.
"I admit Robbie Keane is a big regret," said Moratti.
"The other day, I was watching him play for Tottenham on the television.
"He had a perfect game.
"He had a thousand touches and not one mistake.
"It drives me mad!
"It was my choice to bring him to Inter. I liked him as a player, but he
didn't shine with us.
"And now look at him!"
