Teemu Tainio is the latest injury concern for Martin Jol after Saturday's 1-1
derby draw against Arsenal.
The midfielder completed the full 90 minutes at Highbury despite a toe problem
and Head Coach Martin is hoping it's not too serious with just two games
remaining of the Premiership season.
"Teemu was playing with maybe a small fracture in his toe, so we will have to
wait and see on that one," reported Martin at Highbury before giving us the
latest on the sidelined members of the squad.
"Jermaine Jenas after training on Friday had a lot of pressure on his shin -
maybe it's the start of a little hairline fracture, so he couldn't play but
hopefully he'll be okay for next week.
"I think we pulled him out at the right moment because he could have played
maybe 45 minutes and then he would have been out for the season.
"Mido couldn't even do a fitness test, it was too painful on his knee - not
his groin. At first it was his groin but he came back and now it's his knee.
"Everyone knows now about Ledley King
(stress fracture, fourth metatarsal in left foot) and we had to pull out
Calum Davenport (calf strain) as well.
"So we had problems going into the game and I was proud of how we played."
=============================================================================
Mido還是沒辦法比賽 ,看來不單單是groin ,knee也有點問題
King的情況大家都知道了
正妹Jenas下一場應該是可以上場
Tainio帶傷上場 ,Jol希望他傷勢沒有加重 ,因為只剩下兩場比賽了
