Jol makes Champions League plea
Tottenham boss Martin Jol believes his side should be allowed into next
season's Champions League if they claim fourth spot in the Premiership.
At present, Spurs would drop down into the Uefa Cup if they finish fourth and
Arsenal win the Champions League final against Barcelona on 17 May.
"If Middlesbrough win the Uefa Cup, then fifth and sixth place goes to
the Uefa Cup for next season," he said.
"The same should be for the Champions League as England is so strong."
He added: "I don't want to think about it. I still think it would be an
injustice."
Spurs beat Bolton 1-0 on Sunday to move seven points ahead of rivals Arsenal.
The Gunners now need to beat Sunderland on Monday and Manchester City on
Thursday to take the race for a Champions League slot to the final game of
the season.
Aaron Lennon grabbed the winner against Bolton and Jol added: "It wasn't easy.
"The first half we couldn't pressurise the ball and they had a spare man in
midfield.
"They are a very strong team and everything they do, they do with a purpose
so all credit to them but we did better in the second half.
"I think Aaron is progressing and developing himself into an exciting player."

他提到了比賽的部分
Jol說他們是強勁的對手 ,上半我們壓制不了球也制不了中場
但是下半我們做的比較好 ,我也認為Lennon正在成長 ,會成為一個讓人眼亮的球員
