大意是
成千上萬名災區民眾
在收到政府針對餘震發布的警訊後，倉促地從家園蜂擁而出
當警訊從電視轉播之後
就有民眾開始露宿街頭或是空地、醫院前
成都對外道路上擠滿著想要避難的民眾
當然，這已經不是第一次遇到這樣的恐慌了
除了餘震，土石流、洪水等威脅依然存在
最新統計數據為
超過71000位民眾受到地震影響(此項數據包含死亡、活埋及失蹤人數)
其中死亡人數目前也已升高至34073人
報導中也透過外國記者的描述
我們也能看到電視報導之外的災情
Nick Mackie是災後第一批到達震央地區的記者之一
"Nick Mackie was one of the first foreign journalists to reach the Yinchangguo
region, close to the epicentre."
他表示，在Yinchangguo這個旅遊景點(我查了google卻找不到中文翻譯)
有許多旅館及類似提供旅客休憩的房屋
已經毀於地震及稍後形成的土石流
"He says the popular tourist region was devastated first by the earthquake and
then by massive landslides that swept away villages and buried hotels, guest
houses and farmers' home stays."
目前並不清楚有多少遊客因此而被活埋
"An unknown number of villagers and tourists lie under the rocks and mud, he
says."
最後，引用一下有關救援行動的段落，作為此次整理的結尾
"Although across the region a few survivors are still being pulled from
beneath collapsed buildings, the rescue effort has now focused on providing
food, shelter and drinking water for the millions of people affected by the
earthquake."
大意是
