Hi! 各位導生,
轉眼間，已開學一個半月了。我期待大家都過的愈來愈好。
在今年初，我預期今年會較去年空閒些。不料，因加入國際蚜蟲基因體計畫，使得自己與
整個研究室進入 "緊急動員"，須要與普 林斯敦大學 (University of Princeton) 以及
其它世界一流研究機構一起解析蚜蟲基因體。我們須在 12 月中旬將研究成果與解析結果
寫成論文投稿至頂尖期刊，因此忙的有些人仰馬翻，但也十分興奮 -- 自我從劍橋大學畢
業回臺後又重新與世界頂尖團隊接軌，而且是帶著台大的學生起與他們暨合作、又競爭！
(我中打太慢，以下以英文為之)
Having said that I have been terribly busy, however, I would love to see you
in the next two weeks, either in the breakfast time or lunch time. Next week,
I am available 8:00-10:00 am in the morning of Thursday 30th October, and
Friday 31st Oct. afternoon from 12:30 - 2:00 pm. If you would like to have
breakfast or lunch with me. Please email me as soon as possible - say, by
12:00 pm on Saturday 25th Oct.

First I would like to say a big "Welcome!" to you all, no matter you actively
or passively join my tuition class.
Although the University does not set any compulsory mission for me, yet I
feel that I have the responsibility to help you live better at the NTU,
regardless how many days left before your graduation. Based upon this vision,
