AI is so quick and so good at constantly attacking the basket, you
must, must, must keep an eye on him at all times. When guarding him
it is very important to try to get help because he is so good at
breaking down the defense and getting in the gaps. Often there is
nothing you can do - he'll have his big nights. His past accomplishments
(i.e. scoring championships, League MVPs, perennial All-Star) speak for
themselves, so my analysis will not help many players defend him -
he's just too good.

Rewind once again to the win against the Raptors om March 25. Iverson and
Webber were both stellar, but it was Iverson who took, and hit, the game-
winning shot. Webber didn't mind at all deferring to the Answer.

"It feels good at the end of the game, whether I want this shot or not to
see the little fella say `clear out' to me," Webber said. "I loved it because
it felt good. The way he looked at me, if I had it, it would be the same way.
It just felt comfortable and that's the key."

Iverson is keenly aware that an NBA career does not last forever. The window
to win a title does not stay open for long. A.I. is older, and the wear and
tear has already started to affect his body.

不小了，各種運動傷害也開始影響到他的身體。



"We all realize how tough it is to win a championship," said Sixers veteran
guard Aaron McKie. "Allen is the toughest player that I've known, and he'll
do anything to win a championship. If he can stay healthy, and we all can stay
healthy, who knows what will happen? There are a lot of good teams in the
league. We need Allen to be as close to 100 percent as possible and that's
tough with the way he plays. He's so tough in going to the basket that he
gets banged up a lot.

"It's a testament to his will to win in challenging anyone and everyone. I
think he's had a tremendous season for us this year. Playing a new position
with new players and young players, he's been great. I'm still amazed at
some of the things to continues to do on the basketball court."

「這證明他為了贏球，不管是誰，他都敢挑戰。我想今年他給我們帶來一個很棒的球季
。在新的位置上，跟一些新人還有年輕的球員一起上場，表現很好。他在場上做的事，

The '05-06 season will be Iverson's 10th season. it surely won't be his last.
For those who have played with him, they talk about the passion for the game
he possesses.

"When Iverson is done, he'll have to be dragged off the court," joked
Dalembert. "I mean, he loves to play. You see it every night out
there. He's a competitor. When you see him play so hard, it makes you want
to play as hard as him to keep up."

「Iverson大概要到連走路都沒力氣了，才肯離開球場吧。」Dalembert開玩笑說：「我的
意思是，他真的很愛打球。每天晚上你都可以在場上看到，他是個鬥士。看到他這麼努

Unfortunately, most players aren't lucky enough to win a championship. Just
ask John Stockton. Or Karl Malone. Or Charles Barkley.

Karl Malone，或是Charles Barkley。



"Wether Allen wins a championship or not, he'll be rememberd as one of the
greatest players ever," O'Brien said. "It's easy to forget that this is a guy
who's doing things that a player his size isn't supposed to be doing. He's
remarkable when you think about that. He gets to the basket. he scores over
bigger players. He gets knocked down and always gets up. He compete every
night."

「不管Allen會不會拿到總冠軍，在大家的印象裡，他總是史上最偉大的球員之一。」
O'Brien說：「我們很容易忘記，他所做的事，是其他身材類似的球員做不到的。這樣
一想，就真的很了不起。他可以切到籃下、在更高大的球員前面得分，被打倒的時候，
他總是能夠再站起來，每天晚上他都全力競爭。」



If A.I. does not win a title?

如果A.I.拿不到總冠軍呢？



"I'll feel incomplete without a championship," Iverson said. "I need a
championship. That's why you play, isn't it?"

「如果沒有總冠軍，我會覺得少了什麼。」Iverson說：「我需要總冠軍。打球不就是
為了這個嗎？」
