Rewind to February 12 in Philly, the visiting opponent was the Orlando Magic.
It seemed like just another game.

時光回到二月十二日的費城，來訪的是奧蘭多魔術隊。這似乎只是一場單純的例行賽。



That is, until Iverson put on one of the greatest individual performances
with a 60-point effort in the Sixers' 112-99 victory.

當然，在Iverson狂奪60分，幫助七六人以112-99拿下勝利之後，一切都改觀了。那晚
堪稱他個人歷來最優異的表現之一。



After hitting 17-of-36 field goals, including 2-of-5 from three-point
territory, 24-of-27 from the free throw line, to go along with six assists
and five steals, the crowd at the Wachovia Center gave Iverson a standing
ovation. It was the type of performance that reminded longtime Sixers fans
of all-time great Wilt Chamberlain, who eclipsed the 60-point barrier 32
times.

外線投36中17、三分線投5中2、罰球投27中24，再加上6次助攻和5次抄截，神一般
的表現讓全場觀眾起立歡呼，也讓七六人的老球迷憶起永遠的張大帥、32次打破60分
大關的Wilt Chamberlain。



"When you're talking to me and you're mentioning Wilt Chamberlain in the
same sentence with me, I don't have any more words after that," Iverson said.
"I mean, what can I say? You mention somebody that's six feet [165 pounds]
soaking wet and somebody that's some seven feet.

「如果你在跟我講話的時候把Wilt Chamberlain這個名字跟我的放在一起，那麼，我就
不需要多說什麼了。」Iverson說：「我能說什麼呢？你說的兩個人，一個是六呎[165
磅]，還滿身大汗，另外一個可是有七呎高。」



"That just says a lot about the coaches that I've had in my career, the
teammates that I've played with and my family and friends, the people that
helped me get to this point."

「這就說明了所有帶過我的教練、一起打球的隊友、我的家人還有朋友，這些人對我的
幫助有多大。」



Iverson would trade in 60-point nights if it meant winning a championship.
That's been his primary focus since the Sixers selected him with the No. 1
pick in '96.

如果可以的話，Iverson願意用所有得60分的比賽去換一座總冠軍盃。從七六人在'96年
以第一順位將他選入之後，這一直是他念念不忘的。



Initially, Iverson was not surrounded with enough talent to win consistently.
Through the years, the organization has brought in players in such as Dikembe
Mutombo, Keith Van Horn and, most recently, Chris Webber to play with AI.

剛開始他的身邊還沒有足夠的天才球員，還不能有穩定的勝績。過去幾年以來，球隊
替他找來了Dikembe Mutombo、Keith Van Horn等球員，而最近的一位，是Chris Webber。



When the Sixers acquired CWebb from the sacramento Kings in february, the fans
in Philadelphia were ecstatic. The Sixers traded Corliss Williamson, Kenny
Thomas and Brian Skinner to the Kings for Webber, Matt Barnes and Michael
Bradley. Upon hearing the news, Iverson wae overjoyed. He believed he was
finally getting the star caliber player to play alongside him.

二月七六人從沙加緬度國王隊換來CWebb的時候，費城的球迷簡直欣喜若狂。七六人將
Corliss Williamson、Kenny Thomas、Brian Skinner換走，得到了Webber、Matt Barnes
、Michael Bradley。消息傳來時，Iverson十分興奮。他相信能夠跟他並肩作戰的明
星球員終於降臨了。
