[Last Question] SAS: Here's my last question to you. Obviously, like you've told me before, you're not young anymore. You're a father. You're a husband. Allen Iverson's going into the 2005-06 season with a new coach, Iguodala, second-year player, couple of talented cats on your squad. You started to think about you're legacy more than I have ever known you to think about it. What are you hoping it to be? AI: Honestly, all I ever wanted is, for all the teammates that I ever played with, to say they love playing with me. And they say I played harder than anybody they've ever seen play; that I was the toughest guy they've ever seen play, and I played every game like it's my last. You don't have to put no championship in it. You don't have to. If that's not the case, then that's not the case. If I don't win a championship, that'll just be a dream I've always wanted. I've always wanted to be an Olympian, I've got a chance to be that. I've wanted to be an MVP or go to the all-star game...I've done a lot to be proud of. So I don't have to put that gold ball in it at all for my career to be successful. I still feel in my heart and everything I believe that I am the best basketball player in the whole world, and the best basketball player that ever played the game. That's it. SAS: I love you, boss. I appreciate it. [End] -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.109.224.28
