不是每種可愛風都是相同的。它可能滿是甜膩或是包含了
一股毛骨悚然（意指gugudan, “Chococo”）——
但「LOVE BOMB」則剛好是盡興的那種。
副歌的貝斯合成器音牆聲線，像是從80年代的泡泡糖擊碎後空投出一樣、
同時充滿力量與復古感；以一個殺手鐧調劑做歌曲收尾，
這首歌大受好評。即使未能進入韓國的Goan榜，
它成為了懂得欣賞「LOVE BOMB」的國際粉絲心中另類崇拜的熱門曲。

Not all cute concepts are created equal. They can be full-on saccharine or include a dose of creepy -- but “Love Bomb” just happens to go hard. A wall of synth bass lines the chorus, which is equal parts powerful and retro, like it was air dropped out of a bubblegum smash from the ‘80s. With a killer flair of modulation at the end, it goes out with a bang. Although the song never made it to Korea’s Gaon charts, it became a cult hit among international fans who learned to love the “Love Bomb.” --

This Produce 48 girl group struck (rose) gold on first try with this stunning debut single. From ambient synth work to reverb-heavy strings, "La Vie en Rose" delivered a rare moment for a new K-pop act to make a major impact with a mid-tempo song, as opposed to the typical high-energy banger. The results landed the group a hit single in Korea and Japan, while making them one of the few K-pop girl groups to send their debut song and album to Billboard's world-genre charts. -- J.B.

在去年自電視節目《偶像學校》中誕生、
並以合作舞台發表歌曲「Glass Shoes」後，
fromis_9在一月底出了她們第一張迷你專《To.Heart》，
隨後整年以活潑的三部曲「To Heart」、「DKDK」和「Love Bomb」吸引了聽眾。
前二張以甜美泡泡糖流行樂介紹了這個九人團，但直到十月第三張發行，
fromis_9以奇妙的電子流行樂點燃了Kpop樂壇場景，
她們才真正的成為了本年度的期待團體名單之一。

After being formed through the television show Idol School last year and releasing the single “Glass Shoes” in collaboration with it, fromis_9 released their first EP To.Heart at the end of January and spent the rest of this year beguiling audiences with a trio of vivacious singles: "To Heart," "DKDK," and "Love Bomb." The first two introduced the nonet through sweet bubblegum pop, but it was with the release of the third in October that fromis_9 truly arrived as one of this year’s most promising
acts as they ignited the K-pop scene with excitement over their quirky electro-pop sound.

今年度的Produce系列團體IZ*ONE，

Like I.O.I and Wanna One before them, this year’s Produce group IZ*ONE made an immense impact with their debut single, “La Vie En Rose,” upon its release in October. A girl group featuring both Korean and Japanese members, the 12 women were handpicked by audiences in Korea and didn’t disappoint with their first single, which dramatically showed off their sweet and powerful sides through a  melody that blended atmospheric synths, lilting strings and boisterous beat drops. The elegant music video for
it became the most-viewed K-pop debut video of all time on YouTube as audiences around the world grew interested in the act, and the single debuted at No. 6 on the World Digital Song Sales chart dated Nov. 10.
