Management Structure

The J.League's Board of Directors, consisting of directors and auditors elected
at the general meeting, is the highest authority in deciding the J.League's
aims and policies.

Under the Board of Directors, there are two executive committees: the J1 Ex-
ecutive Committee for Division One and the J2 Executive Committee for Division
Two.The executive committees put the league's aims and policies into effect and
deliberate and decide on matters entrusted to them by the Board of Directors.
Each executive committee is made up of the chairman, directors with specific
responsibilities and one representative selected from each club.

Besides the executive committees, there are several committees with specific
responsibilities under the chairman of the J.League. They are the Disciplinary
Committee, Referees' Committee, Technical Committee, Legal Affairs Committee,
Match Commissioners' Committee and Doping Control Committee. The authority and
responsibilities of each committee are determined by the Board of Directors.
