Did 2K Sports Give Jeremy Lin Enough Respect With NBA 2K12 Player Rating 
Upgrade?

Since posting my first Jeremy Lin story, gamers have emailed me complaining
that it was still challenging to play with New York Knicks overnight
sensation Jeremy Lin in NBA 2K12 because of his abysmal 56 player rating. The
bench player would lose the ball a lot in the game. Well, things are now
getting a little bit better for those who want to relive the sports story
sensation that has literally gripped the world (I’ve received emails all the
way from China on this).

2K Sports has upgraded Lin’s in-game player rating through its “Living
Rosters” update, boosting him to a 69. But when you look at the consistency
he’s shown during his non-stop run of success, does that number show Lin
enough respect? Yes, it will make controlling Lin easier in the game (and
granted, he does turn over the ball in the NBA, as well), but couldn’t Lin
get a little bit more love? Even a 70, if we’re talking high school or
college grades, would get him out of the D+ range. He has proven himself on
the court, coming out of nowhere in a highly competitive league.

Jeremy Lin的旋風席捲了整個NBA，《NBA 2K12》也對Lin的球員能力值進行調整，
在他們初步設定中，Lin的能力值只有56，這個能力值下的Lin在比賽中會頻頻掉球。

現在，2K12將Lin的能力值從56提升到了69。儘管已經有了提升，但由於Lin最近幾場
比賽中連續出色的表現，僅僅69的能力值依然無法讓很多球迷們滿意。

《Forbes》特意發文質疑2K12的數值設定，表示：為什麼Lin不能得到更多的愛呢？
即使是70分，如果我們在談論的是高中生或大學生的成績，也應該將他從D+的等級中
刪掉。他已經在場上證明了自己，在高對抗的NBA聯盟中備受關注。
