There was a lot of concern about brand Linsanity when the New York Knicks fired
head coach Mike D'Antoni on March 14. But the value of Lin's brand, which I
estimated to be worth $14 million in mid-February, keeps growing as the guard
has continued to play well under new coach Mike Woodson and the Knicks appear
likely to make the NBA playoffs.

當紐約尼克在3月14日解雇總教練Mike D'Antoni的時候，有許多對於林來瘋品牌的關心出
現。但是，我在2月中估計林書豪的品牌價值1400萬美元，在林書豪於新教練Mike Woodson

Not only has Lin added value to JP Morgan's $300 million sponsorship of Madison
Square Garden, but Lin's number 17 jersey continues to be the league's top
seller. As my colleague Chris Smith recently wrote, according to an ESPN poll
Lin is more popular in New York than Derek Jeter.

林書豪的附加價值不僅只有摩根大通以3億美元贊助麥迪遜花園廣場而已，林書豪的17號球
衣持續是聯盟最熱賣的。根據ESPN的一項投票，林書豪在紐約比Derek Jeter更受歡迎。

Moreover, Lin continues to boost sponsorship revenue. Taiwan's Acer Inc. and
the  New York Knicks announced a marketing partnership in mid-March that will
allow the PC vendor's logo to be featured courtside at the Knicks'home court
for the remainder of the 2011-12 NBA season. And last week Lin inked a
marketing deal for several international markets with Volvo, while Coca-Cola
said it plans to use Lin's popularity to connect with Chinese consumers.

此外，林書豪持續增加贊助商的收入，台灣的Acer公司和紐約尼克在三月中發布一項經銷
合作協議，尼克將允許這家電腦廠商的商標在2011-12的NBA剩餘球季被特別刊載在尼克主
場的球場邊緣區域。而且，上星期林書豪為了Volvo的幾個國際市場，簽署了一項經銷協議
，另外可口可樂計畫去運用林書豪的聲望與華人消費者作連接。

The lesson with Lin is that the Harvard graduate doesn't have to be an All-Star
to have a powerful brand. He doesn't even have to be the best guard on the
Knicks. Given the international popularity of NBA, with his attitude, charisma
and background, he just needs to be a good player on a playoff-caliber team.
