Jeremy, you recently signed with adidas Basketball. What led you to the brand?

Jeremy Lin: A few things. One, I've always been a fan of their stuff. I had a
lot of adidas stuff growing up. They really believe in me and I really believe
in them. I've been getting to know their whole team a lot better throughout
this whole process, seeing what they're about and what they stand for, and I'm
excited about how they're going to use me in the future. I think I'll have some
input on the creative side of things, which I'm really passionate about. At the
end of the day, I think it's a really good match. They're a really high-level,
well-respected global brand.

What are you looking for in a shoe, performance-wise?

JL: I think the biggest thing for me about a shoe is to not realize you're even
wearing one. For me, that means being light, having great grip and being able
to move the way I want to really quickly. I'm big on design. I'm pretty
particular with the shoes I wear. I don't want to just wear any old pair of
shoes.
我想一雙球鞋最重要的是你甚至意識不到你正穿著他。對我而言，那意味著輕巧、卓越的抓

Jeremy, you mentioned working with the brand on the creative side. How closely
have you been collaborating with the team at adidas?

JL: There's been some stuff, but right now we're really just trying to feel
each other out. I've been filling my closet with adidas stuff and communicating
to them what my style is and what kinds of stuff I like. We've designed a
couple things. The shoes I just started wearing [the Crazyquick 2 Low] and some
other things. Different colors and logo placement.

Do you have any new PEs you're going to wear for the playoffs. Any special
colorways?

JL: I'll be in the Crazyquick 2 Low. There's a pair I haven't worn yet in a
different colorway. I'm waiting for the playoffs to break those out.

What are you wearing off the court right now?
你在球場下都穿什麼呢？

JL: I wear everything. I got Superstars, Stan Smiths, Jeremy Scotts … all
different types of things. Old school and newer stuff. Running shoes. The new
FLUX are great, I have a couple pairs of those.
我什麼都穿，像是Superstars, Stan Smiths, Jeremy Scotts …所有不同款式的鞋子，復
古和新潮的、慢跑鞋等等；新的FLUX很棒，我自己有幾雙。


Jeremy, our China team is wondering if we'll see any China-exclusives from you.
Perhaps something that incorporates Chinese culture?
Jeremy,我們的中國團隊想知道將來是否能在你身上看到任何中國元素，也許將某些東西結
合中國文化？

JL: As time goes on … the whole process means a lot of things will be about a
year out from now. Trust me, once I get everything out the way I want to,
there's going to be a lot showing my story and my culture.
隨著時間的推進，這整個過程意味著很多東西將會從現在開始的一年內逐漸呈現。相信我，
一旦所有事情以我想要的方式順利進行，到時將會大量展現我的故事和我的文化。


Are you guys planning on going to China this summer?
今年夏天你們有計畫到中國嗎？

JL: Yeah, I'll be there. There's an adidas tour.
是啊，我會去，會有一個adidas 的行程。


Do you have a favorite place to go when you're in China?
在中國你有任何喜歡去的地方嗎？

JL: I don't think I've been around enough. Every time I'm there I'm so busy, I
don't get a lot of time to explore. I want to go eventually just on vacation.
But I will say right now I love Shanghai. I love the cultural vibe. I always go
to eat along the Bund.
我不認為我夠了解中國。每次我到那裡都很忙，沒有很多的時間去探索。我想要找個休假的
機會去逛逛。但現在要說的話我愛上海，我愛當地的文化氛圍，我總是會去外灘吃東西。
