Again and again, for all the madness that brought them there, the Rockets had
taken the game to a final possession.
Once with the game tied in the final seconds of regulation and again with the
Trail Blazers up one with 17 seconds left, James Harden missed.

Finally, as the final seconds of overtime slipped away, and Harden had
nowhere to turn, he had to try a fadeaway jumper. When it fell short, the
Trail Blazers held on for a wild 122-120 win in Game 1 of the playoff series.
一敗再敗之下, 鬍子退無可退, 延長賽終了前火箭將球再度交到了鬍子手上, 可是鬍子
愣了一下步伐踏錯, 施展不開他那獨孤求飯的絕技來, 火箭最終只得以122-120敗北

Harden’s final shot dropped him to 8 of 28 as Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge
and Damian Lillard dominated, combining for 77 points

The Rockets had taken a three-point lead with 32.4 seconds in regulation left
on a pair of Dwight Howard free throws. Lillard immediately nailed a 3. The
Rockets went up two on a pair of Harden free throws. LaMarcus Aldridge
answered again, this time with a put-back inside after Wesley Matthews missed
a 3 for the lead.
常規賽剩下32.4秒, DH兩罰皆中火箭領先3分, 李辣德立馬回敬顆三分扯平比數, 接著
鬍子在命中兩罰火箭再度領先2分, 啊基基再跟著砍進兩分比分再度平手, 然後拓荒者

That left the Rockets 2.9 seconds to set up a shot for the win. As they had
in the March 9 overtime win when Harden ran to the corner for the game-tying
3, the Rockets again tried to free Harden on a screen to shoot from the same
baseline at the same baseline against the same team.
He headed toward that corner, but could only take an off-balance jumper that
missed, sending the game to overtime.
比賽剩2.9秒, 球權在火箭手上, 勝利女神就在眼前! 但與3/9那次不同的是, 這回大夥

Once in overtime, the Rockets surged to another lead. Howard put in an
offensive rebound through a Robin Lopez foul for a three-point play. Jeremy
Lin drove to another three-point play.
But in keeping with everything that had happened for 50 minutes, the Blazers
responded with Aldridge going to new levels of spectacular.
With Howard as close as a defender can be, Aldridge drilled a 3-pointer,
giving him a Blazers playoff record 46 points to go with 18 rebounds. Nicolas
Batum drilled another 3 to tie the game and Robin Lopez put the Blazer in
front with a put-back dunk.
這狀況在延長賽再度重演, DH跟林書豪各來個三分打, 火箭&林書豪球迷看得正爽正嗨
時, 啊基基跟Batum居然也跟著回敬了兩顆三分, 啊有沒有這麼神?!! 下巴剛落頦還沒
接上時, Lopez已經灌進了兩分, 讓拓荒者此時領先的兩分

The Rockets, however, had another run in them. Howard drew Lopez’s sixth
foul and made both free throws. Aldridge fouled out setting a moving screen
in the backcourt and Lin scored to put the Rockets in front with 53.6 seconds
left.
然而火箭並沒有在此時放棄比賽, DH讓Lopez六犯退場並罰進追平的兩球, 啊基基則是
替隊友非法掩護跟著六犯畢業, 林書豪再讓火箭取回領先

With Aldridge out, the Blazers immediately put the ball in Lillard’s hands.
Pat Beverley blocked his first drive, sending it out of bounds. But Lillard
beat him off the dribble on the next, finishing with 44.5 seconds left.
Beverley fouled on on the play and Lillard made the free throw for a
one-point lead.
啊基基的退場激起了李辣的體內所有的潛能, 憤怒化作一股純陽真氣激盪在膻中與丹田
間, 隊友們見狀便紛紛將球往李辣德身上傳去, 一旁火箭的天空貝見狀, 一個箭步揉身
而上立馬蓋掉李辣德第一次的上籃, 可惜此時李辣德在充沛的真氣護體下絲毫無損, 接
著再輕提一口真氣右腳虛探艮位晃過了天空貝, 出手命中兩分並誘騙天空貝犯規, 加罰
命中後反倒是拓荒者取得一分領先

The Rockets got two of the shots they line most, Harden on a drive and
Parsons with a wide-open 3-pointer. Both missed, but Francisco Garcia got the
rebound and held on until he was fouled.
此後, 火箭雖仍有逆轉的機會, 但先是鬍子切入鏮鏮, 接著CP三分鐺鐺, 皆沒能替火箭
添得任何分數, 幸好賈叔不服老! 硬是在籃下人群肌肉堆中搶下了一顆價值連城的進攻

Garcia made one free throw, and Howard grabbed the rebound of the second and
went back to the line, also making one of two for a 120-119 Rockets lead with
24.5 seconds remaining in overtime.
賈叔兩罰只中一, DH接著也搶下顆進攻籃板, 遭犯規後也僅兩罰中一, 此時比賽剩24.5
秒火箭120-110領先1分

By then, there was no question where the ball was going. The Rockets switched
on a screen, putting Terrence Jones on Lillard. Lillard beat Jones to the
rim, drawing a foul and making both free throws for a one-point Portland lead
with 17 seconds left.

The Rockets, however, never scored again, coming up empty down the stretch.
The Rockets had led by 11 in the fourth quarter when Lopez was called for a
technical foul for angrily shouting at Howard midway through the fourth
quarter after Howard popped him in the gut when they got tangled up.

The Blazers moved to intentionally fouling Howard with 4:30 left and he made
his first two attempts. But while Howard missed his next four free throws,
Portland scored the next 11 points to tie the game with 2:46 left and Howard
on the Rockets bench.

Harden hit a jumper to regain the Rockets’ lead and they got a few stops,
with Wesley Matthews missing a 3-pointer and Beverley coming up with a steal
with 1:02 remaining.

Harden finished a drive through a Nicolas Batum foul for a three-point lead,
but he missed his free throw. When Aldridge dropped in two free throws,
Portland was back within one with 42.1 seconds remaining and Aldridge had 41
points and 16 rebounds.

If the game had not been weird enough, however, it moved to truly
inexplicable when Howard grabbed the rebound of a Jeremy Lin miss, was fouled
and knocked down both free throws for a three-point Rockets lead with 32.4
seconds left.

The lead was gone 3.3 seconds later. Damian Lillard nailed a 3-pointer with
29.1 seconds left to tie the game.

The Rockets cleared out for Harden who pulled up from 18 feet. Wesley
Matthews fouled him with 7.8 seconds left and Harden made both free throws to
put the Rockets back up by two.

They just never could put away the win until they finally ran out of last
chances.
