Juventus boss Marcello Lippi is not underestimating Newcastle
despite their poor Champions’ League form.
The Premiership side have lost all three of their games so far but
the tactician has warned his men to be on guard.
"Newcastle still believe in qualification and they will use all their
force in order to get as many points as possible from now on,"
said the Coach.
"We need to take advantage of the good form that we are in.
Winning tonight would see us take a major step forward in qualification.
"We need to walk onto the pitch with great conviction in front of
a crowd that will be solely against us."
Juve look in fine shape after their excellent display in the 1-1 draw
against Inter on Saturday. Although the Bianconeri do have a number
of selection problems.
Igor Tudor and Marcelo Salas have stayed in Turin after their
displays at the San Siro. "They have been left at home as they still
need to find their best form," Lippi added.
"They are still recovering from injury problems and they are in no
condition to play two games a week yet."
Star striker David Trezeguet is still injured, but Marco Di Vaio
should be available once more after he suffered concussion in the
last game between the two sides at the Delle Alpi.
"Di Vaio is ready," continued Lippi. "Even if he won’t last the
whole 90 minutes.Zalayeta is also doing well. I’ll decided on the
day of the game who will start."
Probable line-ups:
