Taiwan usually does not mean "culture", at least people don't often
use the word that way. So, when we refer to culture, we say "Chinese".
If you ask others what kind of culture Taiwan belongs to, I doubt whether
anyone will NOT say "Chinese".

But your definition won't go anywhere.
If you feel very uncomfortable with Chinese, please do not
use Chinese. But then you might have a little problem in
describing your native language.
