高雄市柴山變成國家公園

Chaishan, a popular hiking area in southern Taiwan's Kaohsiung City, will be
designated as a national park by the Executive Yuan, Premier Wu Den-yih
announced Friday.
行政院長吳敦義十一日宣布，高雄市流行的遠足地區柴山，將由行政院指定為國家公園。
The Executive Yuan will soon announce the decision to set up a park
administration under the Ministry of the Interior to take over the park's
management, Wu said while attending the closing ceremony of a training course
for local leaders sponsored by the southern branch of the Executive Yuan in
Kaohsiung City.
行政院很快將宣布在內政部下成立一個公園主管機構「柴山國家公園管理處」，接管柴山
公園的管理單位。吳敦義是在出席行政院南部聯合服務中心所主辦的地方領導人培訓課程
閉幕式時如此表示。
Stressing that the government is resolved to pursuing sustainable growth
nationwide and fully protect the public's health, Wu gave his assurance that
the government will never walk the old path again in its quest for a "green"
Taiwan.
吳揆強調，政府決心在全國追求永續發展的成長，將充分保障市民的健康，政府在追求
「綠色」台灣之際，決不會再走老路。
"I made the decision to terminate the 70-year-old mining business in two
mountain areas -- Chaishan and Panpingshan -- when serving as Kaohsiung
mayor, and now it is time we take action to preserve their natural
environment," the premier said.
“我決定終止70歲的採礦業在兩個山區-柴山和Panpingshan -在擔任高雄市長，現在是
時候採取行動，保護了自然景觀，“李鵬說。吳敦義致詞時表示，「我做高雄市長的時候
，決定終止了柴山和半屏山長達七十年的採礦業，現在，是我們採取行動永保這片青翠的
時候了。」
"The government is fully committed to developing southern regions, including
a future special municipality composed of Kaohsiung City and County that will
be merged next year," he added.
他補充說，「有關南部地區的建設，政府一定會全力以赴，高雄縣、市將於明年合併，
組成特區。」
Chaishan is a scenic spot located in Kaohsiung City's Gushan district and
forms a natural protective screen for the city – the largest in southern
Taiwan. The famous Sizihwan is located at Chaishan's foothills. 柴山是位於高雄
市鼓山區的風景區，為這個城市形成一個天然屏障。著名的西子灣即位於柴山山腳。
