Orange Moon(Warner Music Hong Kong) The
Hong-Kong based singer-songwriter shows he is in sparkling form with Orange
Moon.
The new album is a collection of catchy, melodic, mid-tempo soul and R&B numbers
portraying the many facets of love.
Opening track singalongsong is a smooth, Stevie Wonder-esque ode to love, while
Little Worm, with lyrics by C Kwan and 6 Wing from the hip hop group Fama, is
playful and romantic.
Fong's forte is his canny ability to arrange soft and layered melodies,
combining a wide range of instruments and moods in one song.
Inside the Black Hole begins with a simple backbeat which gradually gathers
drama with strings. Please Love Me is a delicate string ballad accompanied by
a lyrical piano.
Laidback and unforced, Orange Moon touches you like a gentle breeze.
