話說今天看到這個樂評...............................

《Jim》

如果你喜歡方大同，或者可check check這位Jamie Lidell。

來自英倫，雖為白人，但卻擁有一把很soulful的歌聲，更擅於利用咪高峰層層疊疊錄下自
己的聲音，將之變成human beatbox，再在上面唱歌。《Jim》是Jamie第4張專輯，繼續由
電音名廠Warp Records出版，不過，Jamie並非強玩電音之人，因他始終是以Funk、Soul
作為風格的樂手、歌手，所以這張專輯依然走這種樂風，但並不太Heavy，聽起來感覺是較
舒服那一類，直至聽到第7首〈Hurricane〉，才換來急速節奏，再多一首快的也只是
〈Where D'You Go？〉，而結尾曲〈Rope Of Sand〉卻騷怨得要命，自我重新排過歌序後
，想跳有跳，想在深宵舒服地Soul一番也可。（關勁松）

listening to...

I have been listening to jamie lidell for the past month...one of the coolest
albums i've heard in a while. He sounds like Stevie Wonder when he was in his
early 20's also a bit like curtis mayfield, donnie hathaway and a bunch of
1970's soul artists. The arrangements are very throwback and quite authentic
..."another day" reminds me of "uptight everything is alright" or "signed,
sealed, delivered"(s. wonder) and "little bit of feel good" sounds like
stevie's "have a talk with god" and "i wish" morphed together. jamie's "green
 light" is like an al green groove mixed with a bit sly and the family stone's
"if you want me to stay"...it's like an accumulation of the coolest elements of
 70's soul. The other thing is...he wears glasses...too...jamie lidell.

this is his latest cd but his previous album "multiply" is worth checkin out
 also...check the new album first.
