UPDATED: Murray To Stand Trial

(11-1-2011) A judge has ordered Dr. Conrad Murray to stand trial for
involuntary manslaughter in the death of superstar Michael Jackson.

法官認定Murrayr將會因為過失殺人而接受審判

Authorities contend the 57-year-old Murray gave Jackson a lethal dose of the
powerful anesthetic propofol mixed with other sedatives then failed to
provide proper care.

有關當局認為Murray給了MJ致命劑量的麻醉劑Propofol還混有其他鎮靜藥物之後
卻沒有提供適當的看護

Prosecutors concluded the hearing with testimony from two doctors who said
Murray acted outside the standard of medical care.

檢方在聽證會中以兩個醫生聲明Murray的舉措超出了一般醫療的標準

Both witnesses said that even if Jackson had self-administered the last dose
of the anesthetic, his death would be a homicide because of Murray's actions.

兩個證人都說就算MJ自己注射了最後一劑的麻醉藥品 他的死依舊因為Murray的行為而
是他殺

UPDATE: "If the doctor didn't put the propofol in Mr. Jackson, it's not a
homicide is it?" Defense attorney J. Michael Flanagan asked.

辯方律師問到 如果醫生沒有給MJ注射Propofol 這就不算他殺了 對嗎

"Based on the quality of the medical care, I would still call this a homicide
even if the doctor did not administer the propofol to Mr. Jackson," Rogers
said. "The fact that there was propofol there in the first place -- in other
words, this is not a usual setting to administer propofol -- and if there was
propofol there, it was there to be administered to Mr. Jackson and so the
doctor should be prepared for adverse effects."

證人回答 根據這樣的醫療照料 就算這個醫生沒有為MJ注射Propofol 我依然會稱為他殺
因為事實就是Propofol就在那裡 而那樣的醫療設備下 根本不該存在這個藥物 如果那裡
存在有Propofol 這表示藥物是要準備替MJ注射的 而這個醫生應該做好有不良反應的準備

Flanagan then asked if Dr. Murray should have been prepared for Mr. Jackson
self-administering the drug?

辯方律師再問 有沒有可能Murray是準備來讓MJ自己注射的呢

"If that's a possibility, yes," Rogers replied.

證人回答 當然也是有可能

Rogers went on to say in his testimony that medical examiners believed, based
on the evidence, that Murray was the one who administered the propofol to
Jackson.

證人接著說 所有醫學證據可以結論 Murray是那個幫MJ注射Propofol的人

The doctor has pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys have said he did not
give Jackson anything that should have killed him.

Murray訴請無罪 聲稱他沒有注射任何導致MJ死亡的東西

Murray could face up to four years in prison if convicted.

如果定罪的話 最長刑期是四年

UPDATE: Judge Michael Pastor also ordered that Murray's medical license be
suspended, effective immediately.

法官同樣下令馬上吊銷 Murray的行醫執照

"Circumstances have changed," Pastor said in court on Tuesday. "They have
changed dramatically. There are extraordinary circumstances that mandate my
approving the request of the [California] Medical Board. Overall
consideration is the protection of the public. The continued practice by Dr.
Murray does pose an imminent danger to the state of California."

法官說 情況巨大的改變了 這讓我必須同意加州醫學委員會吊銷執照的請求 最主要的考慮
是為了保護大眾 Murray持續行醫會危害到加洲

Assistant District Attorney David Walgren said in his closing remarks,
"Michael Jackson is gone. Michael's kids do not have a father because of Dr.
Murray. Michael is not here because of the utterly inept actions of defendant
Dr. Murray."

檢察官在他結辯宣言說到 麥可傑克森走了 他的孩子們是因為Murray而沒了父親
麥可不在這裡的原因是因為Murray極度無能的行為

Pastor denied Walgren's request that bail be increased from $75,000 to
$300,000. Arraignment has been scheduled for Jan. 25 at 8:30 a.m.

法官拒絕了檢察官要求將保釋金提高到30萬的要求 提審被定在1/25號
