According to Sony Music UK a new DVD from Michael Jackson entitled
'The One' is to be released on Monday, March 8, 2004.
The DVD includes the CBS TV special which was broadcast over Christmas
in the US. As well as the special, it also contains new takes of
Michael's timeless original classics digitally restored music videos.
With live performances from 'Thriller' and 'Off The Wall' eras, it also
boasts behind the scenes footage from the 'Wanna Be Starting Something'
video and footage from the HIStory tour.
Featuring commentaries by guests including, Dick Clark, Beyonce, Wyclef
Jean, Quincy Jones, Shaggy and Pharrell Williams.
Michael's album 'Number Ones' has sold over 1.2million in total since
it's release, with the 'Number Ones' DVD, so far selling 200K in the
UK after it's release last year.
'The One' will be released on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 in the US. Also
being released from Epic on March 9 is the single-disc set 'The Essential
Jackson'. The 14- track album will include 'Enjoy Yourself,' 'Shake Your
Body (Down to the Ground)', and 'State of Shock' with Mick Jagger. Also
included is a live version of Michael's solo hit 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get
Enough' from the 1981 Victory Tour.
