"We're in the discovery process because there's not a whole lot of practice
time to be able to learn those things, so you have to learn in games," said
Kings coach Paul Westphal.

because I have all the tools I need to be a good defensive player," Taylor
said. "I'm athletic, and I work hard. I'm just waiting on my opportunity."

"There were some defensive situations where we like to do certain things and

bit to let him know what's expected of him. But I thought he showed some
flashes of athleticism."

"Early in the season, every time I moved it was a foul," Cousins said.

"He's getting more disciplined all the time, and he really did show some
great agility in being able to switch and at least inhibit a play that was
killing us all night," Westphal said.

"If they're playing well, I think they deserve to keep playing," Evans said.

"I thought those guys deserved to finish it and so did Tyreke," Westphal
said.

"I think Pooh pushed the tempo, got us open looks and put pressure on the
defense," Casspi said.

"Every day we're on DeMarcus on improving," Jeter said. "Man, because he's a
problem, in a positive way. He is a problem. He's big, he can shoot, he can
do everything, but now he's getting there defensively. He's got to take baby
steps, and we're going to need that from him every game."
