effort of his players during practice. He said recent practice time has been

however, Jackson said players knew that wasn't an option.

intensity," said Jackson, who twice reached his season high of 15 points
against the Lakers. "If we play the Lakers every night, we can be pretty
good, but we're not (playing them every night). So, against a team not as
good as the Lakers, we still have to come with that same intensity we had."

Martin available for Friday's game in Los Angeles or Saturday's game against
the New York Knicks at Arco Arena.

left ankle.
