Kings look for energy, gusto from newcomers

Seven new faces pulled on Kings jerseys and attempted to soak in as much as
possible as rain drenched everything outside the practice facility.

With the other members of the trade-happy Kings resting or receiving
treatment, Sunday's meet-and-greet was an opportunity for interim coach Kenny
Natt to begin walking the new players through his system.

"It's good to have the new blood in," Natt said. "I think the guys we have
acquired, they're in a situation where this can be a great opportunity for
them to showcase themselves."

But building chemistry and getting everyone on the same page will be tough
tasks for Natt as the Kings take on New Orleans tonight at Arco Arena,
followed by games Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Tonight's game will be the first in which all seven newcomers will be
available, although forward-center Drew Gooden likely will be held out
because of a groin injury. There is no timetable for Gooden, who said his
injury has been elusive.

今晚的比賽七位球員都被登錄了

但是Drew Gooden仍然被鼠蹊的傷困擾  他說這個傷很難判定

"It's an injury that has bothered me the last couple years," he said. "It's
been said to be a lower abdominal strain, said to be a groin strain, an
abductor strain, I've heard it all. I'm to the point where I'm frustrated and
I need to get down the bottom of what's going on."

一種傷勢  三種說法

有人說是腹部下方拉傷  有人說是鼠蹊的傷  也有一說是外展肌拉傷

Gooden眉頭一皺覺得傷勢並不單純.....

他需要好好了解一下

While Gooden's status remains in limbo, the Kings look to use hard-nosed
forward Andres Nocioni, who made his debut in the Kings' 116-95 loss to
Dallas on Saturday. Nocioni shot 2 of 11 from the field and scored 10 points
in a game he said was "really tough."

相較於Gooden  NOCI這個硬鼻子(?)  已經可以上場了

在對小牛的比賽他拿投11中2  得了十分

他說他目前的處境很艱難

"I know how they play, but it's really difficult to be on the court 30
minutes without practice, without playing together," Nocioni said. "It's
going to be tough to put the pieces together."

"我之前連跟隊上練習一次都沒有  甚至跟隊友連打街頭33都沒有過  (按:報隊!報隊!)


所以上了三十分鐘也知道隊友在打什麼但是很難融合在一起"

Natt said he never has encountered such a massive roster overhaul at
midseason, but he hopes the transition is made easier by each player's
renewed outlook.

NATT說他沒看過球季中整隊換了半打的.........

不過他嘗試讓每個人都能打出新風格

Nocioni is signed through the 2011-12 season, but the other six newcomers
have expiring contracts. Natt said he hopes that need to impress will
translate into energy and eagerness on the floor.

除了NOCI外  其他六位都是到期約

NATT希望這些人如果想要球隊跟他們續約的話請展現出活力及熱情來

"Hopefully, guys don't get selfish by trying to over impress management and
coaches to earn more playing time and really kill the chemistry we have
moving forward," Natt said. "(Saturday) night was chaotic, trying to shuffle
guys in. And it affected us. We'll get it together as we get to know guys
better."

上一場比賽很混亂 那是因為試著去引導球員融入......

Guard Rashad McCants put his best face forward, proving affable in interviews
as he talked about his hopes to stay in Sacramento. McCants had four
disappointing seasons in Minnesota since being drafted 14th overall in 2005
out of North Carolina. On Sunday, McCants called himself a "coach's player"
and a "fun-loving type of guy," both conflicting with his reputation for
unpredictable moods.

RMC表現的很平易近人在初亮相時  他說他想要長留國王

他在灰狼渡過了四個失望的球季

他說:" 我是個服從教練的球員"  "我是個心中有愛並且有趣的人"

全部跟他外傳的陰情不定的性格不符

所以我們可以說

RMC人很NICE的.....  這中間一定有什麼誤會........

"I thought it was a breath of fresh air," McCants said. "I don't look at it
as starting over. I look at it as another chance and opportunity to show what
I can do, show my abilities and show I can help my team win."

Starting over didn't sound too bad to forward Ike Diogu, who is with his
fourth team in as many years. Since this isn't his first time being dealt at
midseason, Diogu said the transition should go more smoothly than in previous
years.

季末換隊對 Diogu來說似乎不是什麼壞事  他已經換了四支球隊

(按:還差八支湊滿鐵枝)

這不是他第一次季中換隊了  Diogu說接下來應該不會常常換隊了吧!?(應該啦...)

"I hope I get the opportunity that I haven't been able to get with my
previous teams," Diogu said. "I just have to keep working hard."

"我希望我能夠多點上場時間  之前的隊我都被冰

 我會好好努力的  "
